The Irish Sídhe, the Icelandic Huldufólk, the countless traditions of little people and hidden folk that span every continent. We've been taught these are primitive fantasies. But we said the same thing about Troy. We said the same thing about the giant squid. At what point do we start wondering what else the old stories got right?
