Luna descends the pantry staircase into black water, finding a submerged nursery where a music box plays a lullaby she recognizes from the well. She discovers her own name carved into the cradle and a photograph of a woman who looks like her mother but is not. The water continues to rise as she finds a sealed door leading deeper, with a message scratched into the frame that reads: 'The first child sleeps below.'
