Benjie Engie

A cheerful locomotive that finds deep satisfaction in his role as a local train. Unlike faster engines, Benjie loves making frequent stops because it allows him to observe the countryside, from farm animals to neighborhood children. His happiness is threatened when he is upgraded with a powerful engine and reassigned to a long-distance high-speed route. Moving too fast to see anything but a blurry landscape, the train becomes so despondent that his mechanical parts begin to fail and malfunction.
