S1E21 - The Covenant

In Scripture, a covenant is a bond of life established by God’s mercy. Though unequal parties, God graciously binds Himself to man through a covenant fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who became our blood-brother by assuming our nature and laying down His life for us. In Him we receive a new life, a new family, and an eternal inheritance. The covenant brings us into the household of God, extends its promises to believers and their children, and is sealed by Christ’s blood and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
