A Warning and a Promise

The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgement.

There is a great promise here for the Christian. You love the Lord and you grieve over sins—in you and around you. God knows how to rescue you from trials. And He will rescue you. You can count on that.
