UAE restaurants, cafes and shops playing copyrighted music will pay new annual licensing fees from December 1, 2026, starting at Dh1,500 for smaller venues and Dh1,700 for shops. The new tariff is part of a government framework to regulate music rights and royalties across the UAE.
