The past few lessons our studies have focused on the story of Jesus healing the lame man on the Sabbath, breaking the man-made laws of the Mishnah. The Shroud of Turin – the most intensively studied artifact of all time. In Joshua 11, it is recorded that Joshua and the Israelites destroyed the city of Hazor, burning it to the ground. And according to the Law of Moses, they would have destroyed and burned all the pagan idols, not leaving one untouched.
