Travis Carlton is an active working bass player in Los Angeles who’s played with a lot of folks including Steve Perry, Robben Ford, Christopher Cross, Joe Bonnamassa, Sara Barellies, Steve Gadd, Mark Lettieri, Andy Timmons, and Don Randi, the last four of whom have been guests on this podcast. And his dad is Larry Carlton, the celebrated guitarist who has played with Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell, and who did the Hill St. Blues theme song, among many other things.
