Corpsewood Manor

When Dr. Charles Scudder and his partner Joey Odom moved to the mountains of Georgia, they were hellbent on creating their dream homestead. A curvy bricked masterpiece they called ‘Corpsewood Manor.’ There, they hosted gatherings, welcomed locals and enjoyed an off-the-grid lifestyle. In December of 1982 they were found brutally murdered alongside their two dogs, but the police and the press seemed to be less concerned with the victim’s deaths instead focusing on their ‘sinful, satanic lifestyle.’
